Vanessa Rawls, Pharm.D.

Vanessa was born and raised in McAllen and graduated from Memorial High School in 1997. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and earned her Biology degree then proceeded to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2004. She has 17 years of experience in independent pharmacy and joined Richard’s Pharmacy in 2013. Vanessa is a student preceptor and Cooperative student mentor for high school and pre-pharmacy students. Her certifications include Intravenous and sterile products, Immunizations and vaccinations, and Diabetes and Nutrition education. Vanessa is a compounding pharmacist with a special interest in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. She has been published in the Texas Pharmacy Association Journal and Healthy Valley Magazine. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
